Opening-batter Usman Khan scored his maiden T20 century in the Bangladesh Premier League in the same match Azam Khan also got to the milestone. He was representing Chattogram Challengers against Khulna Tigers, his innings of 103* off 58 balls included 10 fours and five sixes.
Usman carried his bat and successfully chased the target set by Khulna. He became the third Pakistani batter after Ahmed Shahzad in 2012 and Azam Khan in 2023 to reach the landmark in Bangladesh Premier League.
The 27-year-old batter has represented Quetta Gladiators in the past and will be in action for Multan Sultans in the upcoming edition of HBL Pakistan Super League. He was also seen in action for Northern Warriors in the Abu Dhabi T10 League in 2022.
Earlier, Azam Khan struck a brilliant 109* off only 58 balls but that was not enough as Khulna went down against Chattogram by nine wickets.
