Religious Scholar Allama Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi Passes Away


On Sunday, Allama Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi Religious Scholar and preacher passed away in Karachi.

Yesterday night, he had a heart attack and was immediately taken to Agha Khan University Hospital. There he took his last breath.

His body will be taken to the Imambargah located at Ancholi. Also, his funeral prayers will be offered in the same Imambargah today (Sunday).

Allama Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi was born in Lucknow India on 24th March 1944.

The scholar has written more than three hundred books in different fields namely; science, literature, culture, logic, religion, oratory, journalism, language, philosophy, and sociology. Allam Naqvi was famous for his lectures which he gave on the topics for example philosophy, history, and science.

Moreover, the renowned Shia scholar was also editor-in-chief of the periodical magazine named Al-Qalam. Also, he was the president of the Mir Anees Academy.

On the other hand, Usman Buzdar Chief Minister Punjab yesterday announced that the government has allocated Rs.200 million for a new venture called Nai Zindagi Program. CM Punjab further added that the state is going to fulfill all its responsibilities.
