More than 20 players from Pakistan are expected to feature in the ongoing season of Bangladesh Premier League.
Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali, Khushdil Shah and Abrar Ahmed will play for Comilla Victorians. Shan Masood, Ahmed Shahzad and Salman Irshad will be in action for Dhaka Dominators. Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Usman Qadir and Haider Ali will feature for Fortune Barishal. Azam Khan, Naseem Shah and Wahab Riaz will represent Khulna Tigers. Shoaib Malik, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Nawaz will be seen in Rangpur Riders. Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Haris are part of Sylhet Strikers.
Shaheen Afridi is expected to play two or three matches in the Bangladesh Premier League. He is not part of Pakistan’s ODI squad against New Zealand, but he is recovering well and the tournament couldn’t have come at a better time for him to prepare for Pakistan Super League as well.
A few Pakistan players are busy in the ODI series against New Zealand and will join their respective sides in Bangladesh once that series comes to an end.
