Lady health workers continued their protest at D-chowk, Islamabad, against the current pay structure. They’ve called more workers to raise their voices.
The health workers have decided to march towards the parliament house on Monday to seek justice.
The lady health workers from the different parts of the country continued their protest for the fourth consecutive day at D-Chowk against low salaries and pay structure. The protesters, who have spent three nights in the open sky, vowed to continue their protest till acceptance of their demands. The protesters were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans in favor of their demands.
To avoid any critical situation, police and rangers were deployed on the occasion.
The National Program Health Employees Federation President, Rukhsana Akhtar, told the reporters that they had announced last Friday that they would move towards the Parliament House on Saturday but the plan to move ahead was postponed due to negotiating talks with the Health Secretary Punjab, Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti.
