    Karachi Kings is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 cricket team based in Karachi, Sindh. The team competes in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The franchise is owned by Ali Khan Tareen and CEO of the team is Sameen Rana.

    Karachi Kings Schedule for PSL 2023

    The team was founded in September 2015 as one of the six teams that competed in the inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League. The team’s first captain was Shoaib Malik. They reached the final of the tournament but lost to Islamabad United.

    The following season, Karachi Kings finished third in the league stage of the tournament and did not progress to the knockout stage. In October 2017, Salman Iqbal, owner of ARY Digital, purchased the team from Ali Khan Tareen.

    In February 2018, Kumar Sangakkara was appointed as head coach of Karachi Kings. Under his coaching, Karachi Kings reached the final of the 2018 Pakistan Super League, where they lost to Peshawar Zalmi. In November 2018, Shane Watson was appointed as captain of Karachi Kings for the 2019 Pakistan Super League.

    The team has many international players in its squad, including Mohammad Amir, Babar Azam, Imad Wasim and Kieron Pollard.
