Bollywood Evergreen Heartthrob and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor died at 67 in Mumbai on Thursday.
The news of his death is confirmed by his fellow actor Amitab Bachan. Rishi Kapoor passes away in Mumbai. Rishi Kapoor was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday when he feels difficulty in taking a breath.
His brother, Randhir Kapoor, had told the media that Rishi Kapoor had cancer, and he has faced some breathing issues that why he was admitted to hospital.
Neetu Kapoor, Rishi’s wife was said to have been by his side when he first arrived at the hospital.
From the year 2018, Bollywood’s chocolate hero Rishi Kapoor was battle with cancer and spent a year in New York for his cancer treatment and came back in September. He was hospitalized twice this year first in New Delhi because of infection and then in Mumbai with viral fever.
Rishi Kapoor was started his career in Bollywood as an actor in 1970 from his father Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker and went to rule the industry with his various romantic roles.
It’s a second massive loss for the Bollywood industry because just a day before another remarkable actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last on Wednesday.
